Dear Lord, please give me

A heart that always longs for you;

A mind that seeks always to understand your will;

Courage that I may be unafraid to travel and explore possibilities for your greater glory;

Creativity that I may be your hands to create and build things of value, to mend a broken heart, to touch and love someone;

Joy and laughter that others may see your sense of humor;

Time for quiet, silent meditation that I may be more intimate with you;

Awareness of your presence that I may always behold your beauty;

And, a thankful heart for you are my Creator and I am happy to be alive!
