Dancin’ for the Lord

Fifteen hundred people gathered at Leeward Community College for the State Youth Rally on Nov. 3. The all-day event was sponsored by the Diocesan Youth and Young Adult Board and coordinated by Edwina Fujimoto. The rally, which takes place every two years, included an energetic presentation by Father Tony Ricard from the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Above, Father Ricard starts his talk by dancing with the largely high school-aged attendees. Below left, youth sing and motion along with musician and evangelist Jesse Manibusan. Right, a view of the rally crowd.
