On behalf of adoption

Kelly M. Rosati, director of the Hawaii Catholic Conference and executive director of Hawaii Family Forum speaks on behalf of the adoption of foster children in Hawaii at the state capitol, Nov. 7 on the occasion of the Gov. Linda Lingle’s proclamation of November as National Adoption Month in Hawaii. Hawaii Family Forum is a key organizer of the Hawaii 2007 National Adoption Day Celebration on Nov. 17 outside Family Court in Honolulu. At the event, which will celebrate all adoptive parents, the court will finalize the adoptions of about 20 children from Hawaii’s fosters care system. Rosati will MC the event, during which she and her husband John finalize the adoption of their fourth child. Behind Rosati is Director of Human Services Lillian Koller, Lt. Gov. James Aiona who presided at the proclamation ceremony, and Deeanna Wallace of Hope INC, an adoptive agency.
