Women’s Guild’s Christmas meeting Dec. 1

The Catholic Women’s Guild’s will hold its general Christmas meeting on Saturday, Dec. 1, beginning with 10:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Church in Kuliouou, celebrated by Sacred Hearts Father Thomas Choo.

A business meeting and lunch, with surprise entertainment, will follow at the Waialae Country Club. The price for lunch is $25.

Wahiawa parish to have Fall Family Festival

Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Wahiawa will hold a Fall Family Festival on the grounds of its former school on Sunday, Nov. 18, from noon to 3 p.m. The festival will offer fun, food and games for young and old, including a bouncer, a slide, children’s crafts, face painting, tattoos, a rummage and bake sale, and entertainment.

Children will enjoy playing the various games and accumulating script to earn prizes of their choice.

The festival is a fundraiser for the parish’s participation in next year’s World Youth Day in Australia and is open to the public. For more information, call Jack Kampfer at 621-5109, ext. 226.
