Star of the Sea high school reunion

About a quarter of the 46-member Star of the Sea High School Class of 1981 tracked each other down for their first reunion since graduation 16 years ago. They gathered for a beach picnic on Oct. 13 and again at classmate Joslyn Caspillo’s childhood home in Kailua on Oct. 17 where they were photographed enjoying themselves. Seated, from left, are Lisa Veneri, Melody Guerrero, Jonna Peltier and Dottie Perry. In the back, from left, are Angela Pinzari, Joan Arakaki, Claudia Vargas, Denise Kamanu, Joslyn Caspillo, Suzie Miyashiro, Donna Choo, Renee Strekow and Celeste Cordeiro. Star of the Sea High School, an all-girls school at the time, closed in the late 1980s.
