Gift from knight to squire

Knight of Columbus Jacob Taguchi gives a check for $1,000 to Dario Rinaldi, chief squire of the Maui Columbian Squires, so that they can go to Kauai for the 5th Annual Fun and Fellowship Campout Oct. 4-7. The Squires are a Catholic boys organization associated with the Knights of Columbus. Taguchi’s gift was financed by repair work on a house in Kihei. He will also donate his own money and time as the camp’s chief cook. Taguchi, a charter member of the Maui Knights of Columbus Council 8578, is a eucharistic minister at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku and a faithful alumnus of St. Anthony High School.
