Back to School 2007 | St. Louis gets ‘triple crown’ accreditation
Saint Louis School receives ‘triple crown’ accreditation

Saint Louis School is pleased to announce that it has received the “Triple Crown” of accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC); Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS). The accreditation is good for a maximum term of six years.

The approval followed visits by academic representatives from both the public and private schools who conducted in-depth examinations and interviews of Saint Louis School’s programs, management, faculty and staff.

“This action was taken after a careful study of the visiting committee report which noted many laudable aspects of the school,” said Western Association of Schools and Colleges commission chair Gary Davis.

The accreditation effort was led by Saint Louis School’s dean of academics Tim Los Banos.

Saint Louis School is an independent Catholic Marianist school, building “gentlemen of character” while providing a contemporary all-boys’ private school education, with a broadening international perspective.
