Sign up for Maui Squires and go camping on Kauai

The Maui Columbian Squires, the “official youth program” of the Maui Knights of Columbus, is seeking new recruits, boys ages 10-18. Those who sign up before Sept. 1 will be able to participate at no cost in the organization’s fifth annual campout, Oct. 5-8, at YMCA Camp in Hanalei, Kauai.

The Columbian Squires is an international program that prepares Catholic boys for future ministry and lay leadership through church, community and membership service and the nurturing of social and athletic skills. Organizers call it “the best Catholic youth program available to a boy today who will be the adult leader of our church tomorrow.”

To register your sons, call chief counselor Steve Rinaldi at 573-1840 or state Squires chairman Norm Franco at 877-8774.
