Jonah Kahanu is anointed with oil by Bishop Larry Silva during the confirmation Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Waikane on June 3. Kahanu and 10 other young parishioners from Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Roch in Kahuku were confirmed by Bishop Silva at the 10 a.m. Mass.
