Social philosopher Michael Gurian to speak at St. Louis

 

Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona and Saint Louis School are bringing social philosopher, family therapist, corporate consultant, and bestselling author Michael Gurian to Hawaii to discuss his newest book and offer a two-day training session for educators.

Gurian will present, “Nurture the Nature: Understanding and Supporting Your Child’s Unique Core Personality,” July 17, 6-8 p.m., in the Mystical Rose Oratory on the Saint Louis campus. The cost for the lecture is $25.

He will also offer “Boys and Girls Learn Differently!” — a two-day training for education professionals, July 18-19, at Saint Louis. The cost is $255, or $300 after June 15.

Gurian co-founded the Gurian Institute which conducts research and trains professionals. His 21 books include “The Wonder of Boys,” “Boys And Girls Learn Differently!,” “The Wonder of Girls” and “What Could He Be Thinking?”
