Diocese wants to hear from lapsed Catholics Minimize
Diocese wants to hear from lapsed Catholics

The diocese wants to hear from Catholics who have left the church.

If that is you, you are invited to a meeting 7-9 p.m. on June 27 in the Holy Family Catholic Academy cafeteria, 830 Main Street, Honolulu (off Nimitz at Valkenburg).

If you know someone who no longer goes to church or may have joined another church, you may also invite him or her to join you at this meeting.

Also welcome are those who left and came back. The diocese is interested in your thoughts and experiences.

The event is in response to Bishop Larry Silva’s vision statement in which he says that he wants “everyone to continue to have access to a welcoming parish inspired by the Word of God and nourished by its sacramental and liturgical life.”

For information, call Sharon Chiarucci at 203-6733, or send an email to schiarucci@rcchawaii.org.
