Divine Mercy novena at Blessed Sacrament

Blessed Sacrament Church in Pauoa Valley is hosting the nine-day Divine Mercy novena, April 6-14. On April 6, Good Friday, the novena starts at 2:30 p.m., before the Good Friday liturgy. For the rest of the days, the novena starts at 2:45 p.m.

Following Easter Sunday, from April 9 through April 14, the novena will include the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Divine Mercy Services — Exposition, Adoration and Benediction — will be held beginning 2:45 p.m. on April 15 at Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala. Blessed Sacrament Father Mark Del Rosario will be the presider.

JustFaith workshops being sponsored here

The Office for Social Ministry and the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is sponsoring JustFaith, a training workshop for social ministry workers, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., April 14, at St. John Vianney Parish in Kailua, and 1:30-5:30 p.m. at St. Philomena Parish in Salt Lake.

The facilitator is Dan Driscoll, a Montessori school administrator and former director of Parish Social Ministry in Greensboro, Pa.

The cost is $10 per person. Registration begins a half-hour before each workshop. For more information, Call Sister Roselani Enomoto, CSJ, at 203-6734.
