‘Returning Home’ sessions an open invitation to the lapsed Catholic

Do you know someone who has left the church, maybe a family member or a friend? Perhaps someone raised Catholic but who does not come to church anymore? Perhaps a Catholic who feels separated from the church and wants to feel at home again?

No matter how long they have been away and no matter the reason, they are invited to renew their relationship with the church through a series of diocese-sponsored sessions at a number of locations on Oahu.

The sessions will discuss a variety of topics including the church today, the Mass, the Sacrament of Penance and the Creed.

Here are the session locations, dates and contact information:

n   St. John Vianney Church, 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua HI 96734-3899. Tuesdays, 7:30-9 p.m., Feb. 6- March 20, in the parish center. For information, contact the parish office at 262-8317 or visit www.sjvhawaii.org.
