St. Ann Parish offers two Lenten spiritual opportunities

St. Ann Parish in Kaneohe is offering two special Lenten opportunities for its parishioners — and anyone else — who want to prepare their hearts and minds for Easter.

The first is a parish retreat at 7 p.m., March 8, 9 and 10, in church with keynote speaker, Megan McKenna, a well-known storyteller and popular author. She will focus on three readings of Scripture: the woman at the well (catechumen), the man born blind (the disciple who suffers persecution), and the raising of Lazarus (the dead will rise).

The second is a Taizé Prayer Service, a unique style of prayer, Friday, March 12, at approximately 7:30 p.m. directly following the 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross.

For more information, call 247-3092, ext. 231.
