Andrea Hamilton is Academy’s new development chief

Sacred Hearts Academy, the preschool through high school for girls in Kaimuki, has named Andrea Hamilton, a 1968 graduate, as its director of development.

As such, she will advise the school’s board on matters pertaining to fund development, and will coordinate fund development efforts for the school.

Head of school Betty White cited Hamilton’s many years with the school, first as a student, and then as a staff member as the director of special programs, as an asset in her new job.

“She has developed long-term relationships with alumnae, parents, faculty and students,” White said.

Hamilton is also a graduate of Seattle University and has an M.A. in education administration from the University of Phoenix.
