Diocesan Road Map to the future: Dec. 25, 2009 Minimize
Diocesan Road Map to the future: Dec. 25, 2009

COLLEEN O. SATHRE AND FATHER MARC ALEXANDER

Christmas greetings

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we wish to thank our Hawaii Catholic community that is so generously supporting the capital campaign, With Grateful Hearts. Because of your generosity, our diocese will be better able to support the needs that parishioners wanted included in our diocesan plan.

We will continue on our Road Map journey by strengthening our leadership development programs for clergy and laity; enhancing our faith formation programs; more actively engaging our young people in church ministries; advancing our social service mission; and ensuring that our churches, schools, facilities, and land use are worthy of our mission to witness to Jesus.

With gratitude in our hearts, we thank all who are participating in the implementation of our diocesan Road Map. May Christ be born anew in your heart this Christmas and in the new year!

Sathre is chair and Father Alexander is co-chair of the Implementation Commission for “Witness to Jesus: Diocesan Road Map for Pastoral, Program, and Facility Needs  (2008-2013).”
