Floor time with SARK

Writer and speaker SARK (a.k.a. Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) shot paper airplane questions at students and was quizzed on her 250 past jobs when she spoke with the Holy Trinity School, Kuliouou, student body on Sept. 8. SARK, who was in the islands for the Hawaii Writers Conference, is known for her “How to Be an Artist” poster and 15 inspiration-driven books she illustrated with playful watercoloring. SARK told the students that she writes her books wearing pajamas while lying down and that “the more you delight yourself” the better your life will be. Holy Trinity is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is the first Hawaii school at which SARK has spoken.
