Catholic Charities offers domestic violence support group

Catholic Charities Hawaii Therapeutic Services is accepting participants in its Women’s Domestic Violence Support Group, a 10-week closed group meeting 10-11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Oct. 19 to Dec. 21.

The program is open to women who have experienced, or are experiencing, psychological, emotional and physical abuse. It takes a holistic approach — mind-body-soul — to awareness and healing.

The program is accepting referrals for assessment. There is a one-time $15 assessment fee. Members are also responsible for paying group and/or individual session fees at a rate to be determined by a sliding scale with a minimum of $10 per session. However, no one will be turned away because of an inability to pay.

For more information, call Chiyo Churchill at 535-0158.
