Hawaii graduates in Washington

Father Peter Dumag, the diocesan director of vocations, center, congratulates Father Marvin Samiano, left, and deacon Jon Cabico on May 16 shortly after their graduations from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Father Samiano earned his licentiate of canon law in preparation to practice canon law in the diocese. He will be working in the diocesan tribunal office. Cabico earned his master’s of divinity, his final academic degree required before his ordination as a priest for the Diocese of Honolulu on June 29. Father Dumag went to Washington to attend their graduations.
