Do you work here?

It seems the Diocese of Honolulu has hired such a flurry of new staff at its downtown Honolulu Chancery building over the past couple of years, it’s hard to keep track of who they are and what they do. Many have started just within the past six months and they easily outnumber the chancery oldtimers.

All are additions to the offices of Bishop Larry Silva and vicar general Father Marc Alexander and the diocesan business office.

So meet the new hires: In the back row, from left, are Diane Lamosao, Financial Systems Analyst; Margie Sison, bookkeeper; Vincent Vernay, Facilities Service Manager; Joy Bulosan, Executive Assistant to the Vicar General; and Dara Perreira, Director of Human Resources.

In front are: Marlene De Costa, Director of Real Estate; Karren Ransom, Administrative Assistant to the Bishop; and Elina Simon, Administrative Secretary to the Bishop and Vicar General.

Unable to make the photo shoot were two more newbies, Lisa Sakamoto, Diocesan Finance Officer inset, left; and Rachel Bannigan, a part-time bishop’s office clerk, inset right.
