Bishop Silva dries a woman’s feet as part of the Washing of the Feet ceremony during the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, April 9. Twelve parishioners were chosen to represent the 12 Apostles whose feet Jesus washed at the Last Supper.

During the April 10 Good Friday service at the University of Hawaii’s Newman Center, students used mime to relay the Gospel reading of the Passion of the Lord.

Thirty three members of the Elect and their supporters gathered with Bishop Silva at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace on April 11 for Holy Saturday Morning Prayer. Bishop Silva blesses a catechumen during the Ephphetha Rite, saying, “Ephphetha: that is, be opened, that you may profess the faith you hear, to the praise and glory of God!”
