The relics are said to be pieces of the cross, the crown of thorns, the column at which Jesus was scourged, plus replicas of the nails, a reproduction of Veronica’s veil, a picture of the Shroud of Turin, and other relics associated with the crucifixion.

The tour is being organized by the Apostolate for Holy Relics, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

This year’s tour is scheduled to visit Baltimore, Denver, Detroit, Honolulu, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Los Angeles.

In Hawaii, the tour is being sponsored by the St Michael Center.
