Star Light! Star Bright!

The Diocese of Honolulu sponsored its seventh annual “Star Light, Star Bright!” Christmas party, Dec. 13, in the auditorium at St. Stephen Diocesan Center. The program is for the children, families and caregivers of incarcerated women.

At the party, kids ate lunch along with tasty treats of cotton candy, shave ice and popcorn, watched and participated in a Nativity play, and played games. Kids also got to meet Santa and get a photo with him, which was then sent to their mothers.

They each went home with a gift and a stocking. Families also received care baskets and several of them were able to take the Christmas trees in the auditorium to decorate their own homes.
