Judge takes top post at Saint Louis

Judge Walter S. Kirimitsu took his seat as president of Saint Louis School on July 3. The 1958 St. Louis alumnus had most recently served as chief counsel for the University of Hawaii.

“The values I learned at Saint Louis still hold true today as the foundation for young men to be a ‘Saint Louis Man,’ a gentleman of character who reaches his individual potential through spiritual, academic, physical and emotional maturity,” he said.

Kirimitsu, a trustee of the school since 1988 and chair of its board of trustees from 1996 to 2002, expects to continue the school’s expansion of adding grades kindergarten through three to offer a seamless K-12 education.
