Betty and Ed Coda were among the more than 150 families at the biennial convention of The Couple to Couple League International in Asheville, N.C., July 29-Aug. 2.

The Couple to Couple League instructs married couples in natural family planning.

The Codas have been volunteer teachers for CCL since 1982.

The convention, titled “Advancing the Culture of Life Through Natural Family Planning,” offered a mix of national and international speakers and workshops on the Catholic Church’s teaching on sexuality, parenting, nutrition and the latest church-approved science of family planning.
