Bishop to preside at Divine Mercy Mass
 
Bishop Larry Silva will preside at the Feast of Divine Mercy Mass at 3 p.m., March 30, the Second Sunday of Easter, at Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala.

A Divine Mercy Holy Hour will precede the Mass at 2 p.m. Following the Mass will be the blessing of the Divine Mercy images at 4 p.m. followed by a dinner reception in the church cafeteria in celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy.

A novena will be celebrated over the nine days before the feast at Blessed Sacrament Church in Pauoa Valley. The novena and prayers will be at 2:45 on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. A Mass will be added on the fourth through ninth days.

Participants may bring their own images to be blessed by the bishop on March 30.
