Natural family planning classes go color, digital, online Minimize
Natural family planning classes go color, digital, online

Veteran Hawaii natural family planning teachers Ed and Betty Cody now have new, full-color interactive materials to enliven their classroom presentations.

The couple is now equipped with a DVD with video clips and computer animation complemented by a colorful graphics-heavy workbook, courtesy of the Couple to Couple League, the country’s leading provider of training in natural family planning.

The training is presented in the rich context of the late Pope John Paul II’s document, “Theology of the Body,” considered by many to be a masterpiece on the theology of human sexuality.

The new training material also incorporates the Internet with online forums, fertility tracking charts and teacher interaction.

The Codas, who have taught natural family planning in Hawaii for more than 25 years, are excited about the revised materials and welcome calls. They are one of a network of 850 Couple to Couple League teaching couples who instruct more than 7,000 couples in the United States every year.

For information, or to join a class, call 839-0837.
