More isle parishes line up ‘Returning Home’ sessions

Catholics Returning Home, a program to help non-practicing Catholics back to the Catholic Church, has announced more parish sessions.

Here is the session schedule:

Scrub Bucket Ministries offering weekend retreat in February

Maxine Pollock’s Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries is sponsoring “The Potter’s House,” a weekend retreat, from 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 to 2 p.m. on Feb. 10, at St. Stephen Diocesan Center. The cost of $139 includes lodging for two nights, and five meals. A free will offering will be taken. Space is limited. Father Herman Gomes to speak at Holy Spirit Gathering

Sacred Hearts Father Herman Gomes will be the speaker at the Holy Spirit Gathering at St. Ann Church in Kaneohe, 7-9 p.m., on Jan. 25. The meeting is sponsored by the Hawaii Charismatic Renewal.

A young boy joins mariachis in an annual procession in Los Angeles Nov. 26 in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music. The musicians attended an open-air Mass and on Dec. 7 they are scheduled to sing at an Los Angeles archdiocesan Mass honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe.
