Psychologist Father Stephen Rossetti to speak here
 
The president of the St. Luke Institute, a program that treats clergy and religious with sexual abuse and other psychological problems, will give a talk in Honolulu next month. Father Stephen J. Rossetti, will speak at 7 p.m., Jan. 22, at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa. The event is free and open to the public.

A priest of the Diocese of Syracuse, Father Rossetti is a licensed psychologist. He is a 1973 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy who spent six years as an intelligence officer. He has a doctorate in psychology from Boston College and a doctor of ministry degree from Catholic University of America.

He served as a parish priest before taking the top position at St. Luke Institute.

Father Rossetti is a recipient of the USCCB’s Proclaim Award, the Distinguished Priest Award from the John Carrol Society of the Archdiocese of Washington, and the alumnus Lifetime Service Award from the Theological College of Catholic University. He is the author of “When the Lion Roars,” and “The Joy of Priesthood.”
