Peace delegation

A group of Buddhist, Shinto, Protestant and Catholic ministers and laity from the Japan Religious Committee for World Federation stopped at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace on the afternoon of Dec. 5. They met with Hawaii Marianist Father Francis Nakagawa and members of the local Japanese Catholic community. The interfaith group was visiting Hawaii for their 26th annual participation in Pearl Harbor anniversary events. The committee also visited the cathedral last year and visited with Bishop Larry Silva. Among the visiting delegation was Father Chitoshi Noshita, a Catholic priest from Nagasaki, and four lay Catholics.
